Paul Jacobs
Paul has been in this hobby for over 50 years. He is the owner of Saratoga Shipyards 1:1250 models and constructs all the “masters” for the models which are available from Alnavco. He has also authored a book which is the definitive book on the hobby and is recognized as being an expert historian on it.

How impressive is this Pearl Harbor diorama! Talk about taking up a whole room. Of the 96 ship models used the majority of them are Superior 1:1200. Tom also continues to add to his fleet

Wayne Smith
Wayne has been in the collecting hobby for over 50 years. He currently does all the”Masters” for all new Superior 1:1200 models. He recently donated his collection of over 300 models to the Battleship USS NEW JERSEY (BB-62) which is currently a “Museum” ship moored in Camden, NJ. On board the ship, the models will be used for displays and dioramas.

Jeff Clarke
Many of your will recognize Jeff’s name by the fact that he does the terrific paint jobs on Superior’s new models as they are released. He a a retired Army Officer who holds a PHD in history from Duke University. He has a massive collection of over 3000 waterline ship models. For each, he keeps a 3” x 5” index card indicating name, type, national origin, model number, when bought it and from whom.. He has organized these cards in boxes of about 700 each by nationality and era (which he does plan to put on his PC and which he realizes will take several years!). To top that off, he has a collection of over 1500 armored fighting vehicles! Truly, a Modeler’s Modeler!
